School Incursion 

The incursions are an engaging, entertaining and educational journey into the similarities and differences between Indian and Australian culture through the fun and exciting medium of music.

In the workshops, children are engaged in numerous aspects of Indian culture – many of which are already part of our own multicultural heritage here in Australia, such as yoga and language - yes, the word ‘jungle’ comes from Sanskrit! ​

Hosted by Vedanta Centre Brisbane, this will be a soul-stirring morning of classical Indian music. Karnatic Classiacal Flute Recital by Subu Sastry.

The Tamil Festival Australia 

​A vibrant all-day celebration of Thai Pongal, offering entertainment for the whole family.

Set to take place on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Caulfield Racecourse, the event features cultural showcases, traditional sports, live performances, children’s rides, family-friendly activities, and diverse culinary experiences.
