Subramanya Sastry is a Melbourne-based Indian classical flute performer with over 15 years of international experience, captivating audiences across India, Singapore, Malaysia, Mauritius, and Australia. He blends the rich traditions of Carnatic and Hindustani music with Flamenco, Jazz, Classical, and Folk influences, and has collaborated with dance productions including contemporary Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Odissi and other Contemporary dance forms to create immersive musical experiences. Recognized by SBS Hindi and credited on IMDB, Subramanya has also been awarded grants by the City of Monash to explore the therapeutic potential of traditional Raagas. Known for performances that resonate deeply with audiences, he brings passion, precision, and cultural storytelling to every stage. In addition to performing, he offers personalised Bansuri flute lessons for beginners to advanced students, online and in person.
