Master the Bamboo: Your journey to flute mastery starts here...
The bamboo flute is a complex instrument, requiring mastery of tonal dynamics and breathing techniques to produce the right resonance. Students will learn the theory of Indian classical music, including ragas (melodic scales) and talas (rhythmic structures). Lessons are tailored to individual needs, covering aspects such as melodic tunes, classical pieces, improvisation, and developing 'manodharma' (personal expression through music). Advanced students will focus on building strong theoretical knowledge and performance skills, preparing them for full repertoires, both as lead performers or accompanying artists.
I offer one-on-one Bansuri lessons for anyone who’s genuinely interested – whether you're just starting out or already playing and want to go deeper. Everyone is welcome!
Duration: 30 minutes
Fee: $45 per lesson (same for beginners and advanced learners)
Format: One-on-one (online or in person, depending on what works)
